In 2023–2024, Taqatak collaborated with SODIC to develop a solar-powered pergola in the Villette Pocket Park community within New Cairo.
The pergola was designed as a multi-functional renewable infrastructure element, generating solar power to operate lighting and provide charging services for residents and park visitors.
This project reflects the integration of renewable energy within modern residential developments and public spaces.
